Steven O' Riordan is an award-winning feature-length documentary producer and director. His works “The Forgotten Maggies”, “No Limbs No Limits” and “My Life” have been broadcast in 16 countries worldwide and seen by nearly 15 million people.
Steven's main body of work constitutes successful advocacy campaigns for people with disabilities, survivors of Ireland's Magdalene laundries, homelessness, asylum seekers and extensive involvement within the arts and youth development throughout Ireland.
His No. 1 bestselling book “Whispering Hope” published by the Orion publishing company in the UK chronicles the remarkable success he and survivors of institutional abuse had when they sought and secured a historic state apology in Ireland.
Having completed his studies at Bath Spa University, Steven set about developing and creating work that explored the issue of women's rights, social inclusion and diversity within Irish society. Steven has worked with an array of people including politicians, NGO's, schools, universities and leading businesses throughout Ireland, the UK and America.
Steven's work has been broadcast on the BBC in the United Kingdom, RTE and TG4 in Ireland. He travels extensively giving talks about his work, the importance of social inclusion, equal rights and providing advice and support on how to create and develop better communications to enhance business potential, public sector outputs and NGO campaigning.
